The aim of the Automotive Industry Team is to add value and business benefits to companies in the supply chain for manufacturing cars, trucks and road vehicles by supporting manufacturing solutions, which reduce costs and/or add functionality.
By maintaining an understanding of the technical pressures facing car and truck manufacturers, TWI is able to meet the challenges of the automotive industry, providing a continuously developing range of support services. Skilled staff work with vehicle manufacturers, component and assembly manufacturers, materials suppliers, specialist vehicle builders, and motorsport specialists.
TWI's expertise and activities are broadly divided into four areas: Body Construction, Power Train and Chassis, Trim and Interior, and Electrical Components and Control systems.
