How much will I be paid?

What hours will I work?

Our standard hours of work are 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 4.15pm Friday, with 45 minutes for lunch. There may be occasions when you will need to work additional hours.

Am I a permanent employee from the first day?

Yes

Is there a Probationary Period?

All new starters at TWI are required to complete a probationary period for the first six months of employment.

What if I need a Work Permit?

TWI will support you in obtaining a work permit. You need to advise us of your work permit status as early as possible.

When is my first day?

We are intending to start all our graduates in early September. Alternative dates may be negotiated under special circumstances.

How many Project Leaders are you taking this year?

We normally look for 10 Project Leaders from the Graduate Recruitment Day.

Will you pay for my expenses for attending the Graduate Recruitment Day?

Yes, we will cover reasonable expenses.

Will you help me find accommodation in Cambridge?

Once you have started work and as part of our relocation package, you are able to stay in our on-site accommodation for up to two weeks whilst you look for permanent accommodation. We can provide you with guidance on how to find accommodation in the Cambridge area and assistance with relocation costs.

What is the working environment like?

We work in an open-plan office environment to encourage interaction between teams with a variety of meeting rooms and quiet rooms available. Each of our Technology Groups have laboratory facilities providing you with the opportunity to carry out experimental work.

Where is TWI located?

Our main site is located in the campus style setting of Granta Park, 7 miles to the south of Cambridge. We also operate regional centres in the UK in South Yorkshire (Sheffield), Wales (Port Talbot) and the North East (Middlesbrough). It also has centres in Middle East, South East Asia, Persia, North America, Brazil and China.
