Metallurgy
The Metallurgy group is part of the Metallurgy, Corrosion and Surfacing Technology Group. This team undertakes single client confidential studies and consultancy, and Joint Industry Projects addressing the metallurgical and materials needs of industry.All aspects of this diverse subject area are covered by TWI's expertise, with particular emphasis on welding and joining technologies. We have knowledge of most metallic materials (both ferrous and non-ferrous), and also many non-metallic materials such as polymers, ceramics and composites. The range of services we provide include:
