TWI has in excess of 55 years' experience in fabrication, materials, corrosion and structural integrity technologies and NDT and this has led to 33% of our membership base being derived from the Oil, Gas and Chemicals sector.
TWI's expertise has contributed to the safe, reliable and economic production and transportation of hydrocarbons from onshore and offshore oil and gas fields for over four decades.
Initially, the development of production from the North Sea presented significant technical challenges to which TWI made a major contribution. TWI continues to provide significant support to the operators in this mature province but also to the exploration and production hot spots of the world.
