Services range from feasibility studies to full project support for new laser applications, from initial trials through to production cell specification and commissioning.
Staff are also available to act as consultants to Members on all aspects of laser materials processing.
Although TWI has both CO
2 and Nd:YAG laser processing facilities, Nd:YAG is more suitable for flexible manufacture as is can be transmitted by optical fibres.
