NDT

The NDT Validation Centre at TWI's Port Talbot operation is involved with an unparalleled range of NDT techniques. You can find out how the underlying technologies work and where the techniques can be used by visiting the
Centre's website at
http://www.ndt-validation.com/ and following the 'TECHNOLOGIES' link at the top of the homepage. Over 20 informative technology summaries are available.
The Validation Centre has excellent NDT facilities and experienced specialists. Here are some of the ways in which the Centre can assist you:
- Carry out NDT for you, using standard, new or advanced techniques
- Look at the way you currently do NDT to see if technical or cost improvements can be made
- Recommend or develop an NDT procedure when you're faced with a new or challenging NDT job
- Help your NDT staff develop their knowledge and skills
- Validate your inspection techniques, which could include personnel, equipment or procedures
You will not have to pay for any of this - it's available under the NDT 3 technical assistance programme, funded by the Welsh Assembly Government.
If you would like assistance with NDT, or want more information, please contact Martin Bourton 01223 899 479 martin.bourton@twi.co.uk
