Environmental management and equal opportunities policies
Beyond avoiding prosecution, it's widely recognised that tangible business benefits arise from having effective policies. With environmental management, payback can include reduced operating costs, improved reputation amongst customers and the public, and work from organisations that require business partners to manage their environmental impacts effectively.

But where do you start when developing effective policies? Within the REMTEC web pages there are now links to guidance on environmental management and equal opportunities policies: to the links.

Technical support using TWI specialists and laboratories
REMTEC provides up to 14 days of in-depth technical support tailored to your needs. You don't have to pay for this, it's funded by One NorthEast. REMTEC covers all welding and materials joining processes and allied technologies, all engineering materials (metals, plastics, composites, ceramics, etc) and all areas of engineering and manufacturing.
