Robotics in Welding

Fern Engineering Systems Ltd are a supplier of Robot systems for welding applications.
Mr Paul Jackson and Mr Steve Smith kindly presented several robotic welding projects they had instigated to the meeting, showing the manual pre-robotics and the finished systems once Fern had analysed the process and provided a robotic solution.
The huge benefits were statistically presented, showing how a robotic investment could greatly increase company profits long term.
The meeting concluded with a lengthy question and answer session showing Fern's in depth knowledge of robotic welding solutions.
Fern also invited the branch to a future works visit at their Blackburn base, where it would be possible to view a possible robotic solution in practice, if given customer approval.
