A Survey of Fitness-for-Service Trends in Industry, 2007
Please click the button below to start the survey:
In 2001 TWI Ltd carried out a questionnaire-based survey of 'user experience of plant life management practices', to gain a better understanding of the reality of plant life management and the needs of plant operators. In 2003 the European Fitness-for-Service Network (FITNET) conducted a survey of 'current application and future requirements for European Fitness-for-Service (FFS) technology'.
In 2006 the management of ageing plant became a regulatory hot topic in the UK with a Health and Safety Executive document on the subject being released. Considering also the recent release of the new API/ASME joint FFS standard now is the ideal time to carry out an updated industry survey to assess how developments such as these might affect plant life management practices throughout the world.
The survey should take no more than 20 minutes to complete and can be saved at any time, to be finished at a later date. We hope the survey will provide an interesting insight into FFS trends in industry.
In order to encourage maximum participation everyone who provides a response to this survey will be given access to the published results. Please also feel free to forward this survey to friends and colleagues; the more responses we receive the more useful the survey will be.
Thank you for your help.
