About the Health Technologies KTNHealth technologies KTN is a Knowledge Transfer Network funded by the UK Government, dedicated to accelerating innovation and technology exploitation in the broad health industries sector. The Health Technologies (HT) KTN started in December 2006, having migrated from the Medical Devices Faraday Partnership. As such, we were able to take advantage of an existing proven partnership and appropriate governance structures although continuous improvements have been made in line with any modern business and examples of good practice from other KTNs. The Director, Mrs Sue Dunkerton and the Programme Manager, Professor Mehdi Tavakoli of HT KTN are both based at TWI. The organisational structure is shown in Fig. 1.
