IIW 60th anniversary

The UK Section of the International Institute of Welding, an activity of the Professional Division of The Welding Institute, would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the International Institute of Welding on its sixtieth anniversary.

The Welding Institute (formerly the Institute of Welding) is a founder member of IIW and is proud to have been part of such an influential body since its inception.

Workshop on stainless steel

A workshop on Cost effective selection fabrication and application of stainless steel is planned for Thursday 1 November 2007 at the National Metalforming Centre, West Bromwich. This next event in the series organised by the British Stainless steel association, Ooutokumpu and TWI offers present and intending users of stainless steel an expert update on best practice and some insights into current applications experience.
