First Announcement and call for papers1-2 October 2008, Airbus, Toulouse, FranceMajor themeThis seminar follows on from the successful events at Rolls-Royce (Derby, UK), Lockheed Martin (Denver, USA) and Volvo Aero (Bokenäs, Sweden) in previous years, and concentrates on joining requirements and technologies purely for the aerospace industry. The programme will include presentations in the fields of Materials & Processes, Applications & Repair, Inspection and New Developments. PapersA 300 word abstract should be forwarded to Rachel Wall at TWI by 7 March 2008 latest. The offer of a paper is taken to imply that an author will be fully funded and therefore able to attend and present the work. Papers accepted for presentation will be supplied on a CD of pre-prints to all participants.
