Chris Peters is Manager of both the Equipment, Consumables and Materials industry team and the Manufacturing Support and Arcs Technology Group. Dr Peters joined TWI in 2001, after spending 12 years in the laser industry where he
was involved in the development of high-power Nd:YAG lasers for manufacturing applications. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, Chris later gained additional qualifications in welding engineering and laser material processing. |

Michèle Routley is involved in the running of an advanced design centre to support one of TWI's member companies. Dr Routley joined the Microtechnology Group in TWI in 2001, primarily focussing on reliability and life
extension in the technical areas of the group. Prior to TWI, Michèle was researching Ge+ implantation as a method of fabrication for SiGe Heterojunction Bipolar Transistors in the silicon processing cleanrooms at the University of
Southampton. |

Chris Wiseman is responsible for Corporate Development of Membership in this sector. He joined TWI in 2007 following a four year Business Manager role, delivering high end materials testing services into Aerospace, Automotive
and General Engineering. Prior to this, Chris had almost 30 years experience with a global Aluminium producer, during which he developed a technical and knowledge transfer career in research and development. His HNC in Metallurgy added value to
a wide range of projects in which he contributed or managed, including, Alloy Development, Thermo-Mechanical Processing, Corrosion, Aluminium Welding, Coatings, Bonding and Pre-Treatment and Fabrication. |

Geoff Melton joined TWI in 1974 as a research engineer in the Control Engineering Support Group. He left TWI in 1987 to work for a welding equipment and consumable manufacturer, in management, development and technical support
roles. He re-joining TWI in 1999 in the Arc Welding Dept and is also the Chairman of the British (WEE/6) and European (CENELEC TC26A) Committees for standardisation of arc welding equipment. |

Linda Dumper is Manager of TWI's Information Services comprising Library, Weldasearch database and the document archive. Linda started at TWI in 1975 but left to gain a post-graduate Diploma in Librarianship. Returning in
the 1980s she spent two years in Marketing Department before once more joining the Information Services team. TWI offers its Industrial Members the most comprehensive information service on welding joining in the world. |

Dave McKeown is TWI's Marketing Manager. Dave worked in the BWRA (later TWI) Metallurgy Department from 1965 to 1974, gaining a PhD for his work on high nickel alloys. After a career with welding companies, managing R&D,
QA, Technical Support and Marketing, he re-joined TWI in 1995 as Training and Examinations Manager, moving to Marketing Manager in 2000. |
