Obtaining copies of patents
There are several databases on the internet offering access to patents free of charge.
There are also a number of commercial organisations offering patent document delivery services.

The British Library has a large collection of patents and offers patents searching and document delivery services. If your organisation has an account with the British Library your librarian can place a request with the British Library. If you are not a customer, orders can be placed via their Articles Direct service.
