Quality Assurance and Control Quality issues addressed to ensure welding standards are met and consistent weld quality achieved. Helping to achieve or maintain quality assured standards such as ISO 9000 and BS EN 729.
Cost Estimating Process comparisons and estimation of the cost of production.
Standards Knowledge A wide ranging knowledge of welding and related standards such as the Pressure Equipment Directive.
Weld Specification Interpretation Interpretation of specification jargon into practical meaningful information specific to an organisation's requirements.
Welding Procedure Development. Welding Engineer developed procedures for skilled staff to work to. Developed to meet specifications and standards as required.
Health and Safety Advice on welding related Health and Safety issues. Risk assessment may be carried out also.
