Thermally sprayed coatings and weld surfacing have diverse applications including the protection of components from wear, corrosion and oxidation during combustion processes. TWI has expertise in development and evaluation of
coatings for life extension for components in fossil fuel and steam plants. Applications include prevention of waterwall corrosion.
