Surfi-Sculpt technique

In response to requests for samples of material processed using the Surfi-Sculpt technique, TWI has manufactured a range of samples to show some of the features that can be made using the process.

These samples are available on request as a demonstration of some of the technical features of the process.

Each sample contains several hundred intricate features, which are created in just one or two seconds by the delicate touch of the electron beam as it moves at lightning speed.

The features include protrusions, slots and holes, in an intricate network, displaying some of the features that can be made.

This highlights the potential for using the Surfi-Sculpt process in applications in which the appearance of the work is an important feature.
