What is a Group Sponsored project (GSP)?

Known by some as a Joint Industry Project (JIP), a GSP is a work programme of mutual interest to a number of organisations each contributing to fund the work. Typically, we have five to twenty Sponsors for a project.

By undertaking R&D via Group Sponsored Projects, Industrial Members gain access to the results of substantial programmes at a lower cost, and have the opportunity to steer the work undertaken into areas of specific interest.
