Our specialised Teesside unit in Middlesbrough (UK) has developed a unique aluminide coating for the protection of long tubes and heavy process components.
This coating offers a solution to not only high temperature (in excess of 1000oC) oxidation, carburisation and sulphidation issues but also lower temperature metal dusting attack. The efficacy of our aluminide coatings in protection against metal dusting has been illustrated through our participation in the TNO MeDAG Project and its need by empirical evidence of metal dusting of even Inconel 693.
