Fronius goes cold, quiet and gentle

Cold Metal Transfer (CMT)
The Fronius CMT MIG/MAG process has revolutionised light gauge automatic welding applications. Its significantly reduced heat input ensures the problems of distortion and burn-through are kept to a minimum, while the AC servo motor in the torch ensures problem free feeding on soft wires. Following the success of the robotic applications (now over 700 worldwide with around 5% in the UK), the manual system is now available for spatter free welding of thin sheet aluminium, stainless and even mild steel.

Quiet Strength (MagicWave 2200)
"Quiet" welding can mean two different things: A stable arc, or a low level of noise. Normally, you can't have both at once. Unless you're using one of the Fronius TIG power sources, that is. "Active Wave" is what does the trick here: a digital signal processor computes - in real time - the waveform that will permit the highest possible arc stability with the lowest possible noise-emissions levels. So if you want to enjoy both peace and quiet and better welding results, just give us a call! We'll be pleased to inform you about our new machines for TIG and MMA welding at up to 500 A.

The gentle approach to chrome-nickel (TransPulsSynergic 2700/3200 CrNi)
Even more perfection - and profitability! The 270 to 500 A range now has an optimum welding system of its very own: The new, multiprocess-capable TPS 3200. In a standard version, and as a special "Chrome-Nickel Edition" - the TransPuls Synergic 3200 CrNi. Because this challenging material always calls for technological finesse of the highest order: Like 46 custom characteristics that are exactly tailored to chrome-nickel - for easy, precise working with solid and flux-cored wires, or in chrome-nickel-brazing. If you, too, want to be sure that your chrome-nickel is in gentle hands, we've got plenty more information ready and waiting for you.
