Structural panels

PLY developed a new concept for lightweight and stiff structural panels bearing important characteristics:

• ln-plane isotropy when compared with typical welded corrugated steel or channelled structures;
• Lightness as it requires only two metal sheets when compared with the above;
• No addition of third materials when compared with composites and honeycombs;
• Easily produced through the use of current manufacturing technologies.
