TWI’s NDT Group at BINDT: 2012

TWI will be attending the 51st Annual Conference of the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing at Daventry on 11-13 September.

Sixteen papers will be delivered during the event by TWI staff. They will also be manning the TWI area at the exhibition and will be happy to answer any questions.

The papers to be presented include:

• Detection capabilities of a phased array ultrasonic inspection system for plastic pipe butt fusion joints
• Real-time full matrix capture with focusing of known geometry through dual-layered media
• Estimation of probability of detection curves based on theoretical simulation of the inspection process
  

There will be leaflets available which outline case studies and overviews of current and successful projects covering a wide variety of NDT techniques and technology areas.
