Materials (General bodies)
ASM International offers information on their events, activities and products, document delivery, an extensive directory of materials suppliers' addresses and access to their WebBoard online conference. They offer contents listings for Advanced Materials & Processes (AM&P), their monthly technical magazine and a searchable archive of tables of contents, with abstracts of articles, from their technical journals plus an e-mail alert service of tables of contents.
This site hosts the pages of The Thermal Spray Society which includes a discussion list, events calendar and an online glossary of terms.

ASMENET is the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, offering an overview of the society, membership, news for engineers, their technical programmes, list of meetings and conferences, publications, information about their codes and standards, professional development, jobs, US government relations, history and heritage, and links to other sites. Their publication Mechanical Engineering is available in electronic form and there is an online searchable table of contents service for all their journals.
