Following on from TWI's first Green Day, held on 7 June at Abington, this second list of websites on aspects of renewable energy provision concentrates on British and American sources of information.
British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) The major British association related to wind and other renewable forms of energy, including wave and tidal and small wind systems. As well as information on the UK wind farms, their siting and related government policies, the site includes information on health and safety, FAQs, events, the latest news and the UK wind energy database.

UK Resource Efficiency the website of the Resource Efficiency Knowledge Transfer Network funded by UK Government, Regional Development Agencies, Devolved Administrations and Research Councils. It includes news, events, a forum, blogs, tools such as online conferencing software, case studies and products, special interest groups, a jobs section and links to other relevant organisations.

Offshore Windfarms (COWRIE) Collaborative Offshore Windfarm Research into the Environment is an independent company, first set up by the Crown Estate, to raise awareness and understanding of the potential environmental impacts of the UK offshore windfarm programme. The website outlines the research being carried out by the company.

UK Energy Research Centre is part of the cross-Research Council's programme, Towards a Sustainable Energy Economy (TSEC), and is funded by three research councils. It outlines its six network and research activities and four functions. Details are given of events, the organisation's meeting place facility, press releases and research reports an energy research atlas and information on NERN (National Energy Research Network).
