Ceramics Centre has a new home

The Ceramics Centre at TWI has been relocated in a dedicated suite of laboratories. The new Centre contains equipment for vacuum brazing (for ceramic and metal joining), diffusion bonding, hot isostatic pressing, sputter coating,sol-gel and ceramic processing laboratories as well as the new Brazer Training and Demonstration Centre. There was an official opening of the Ceramics Centre on 30 June 1998 during a dedicated launch day. This will consist of a seminarwith talks by guest speakers and a tour of the new laboratories.
