Major CSWIP development pioneered by TWI

In a worldwide initiative, BG Transco (formerly British Gas) and CSWIP have joined forces to offer the BGAS-CSWIP scheme for inspection personnel.

In January 1994, TWI was chosen by British Gas to take over the administration of their popular BGAS approval scheme for inspection personnel (formerly known as ERS approval).

Since then 1700 inspectors throughout the world have passed through the scheme and many existing scheme members have successfully renewed their approvals.

To expand the scheme and enhance its availability even further BGAS and CSWIP have combined their international reputations in this new joint venture.

Current BGAS approvals will still be recognised and on renewal be re-issued as BGAS-CSWIP approvals. Moreover, the option for immediate transfer from BGAS to BGAS-CSWIP will soon be available.
