Routine monitoring of Members CPD is becoming an increasing part of Institutions' duties to ensure the professional competence of Members at all levels.

The Engineering Council requires all Institutions to have a policy for the routine monitoring of their Members and to provide details of monitoring undertaken and results obtained.

To assist us in ensuring we meet with these requirements we urge all Members, in their and our interests, to maintain their CPD. Within the next twelve months a random survey will be carried out and Members will be requested to provide evidence of their CPD. So don't wait - if you do not already maintain your CPD make a commitment to start now.
