Reliability of HVOF coatings subject to environmental exposure
TWI has launched a GSP to evaluate the long-term reliability of HVOF coating properties and to evaluate the options for specific combined wear and corrosion applications. This project is relevant to companies involved in manufacturing aircraft landing gear, propeller hubs and gas turbines hydraulic rams for heavy construction machinery and components such as valves and pumps. For information on how you may join the project, contact
Dave Harvey or
Carole Reignier .
