Lasers - the competitive and cost effective solution
The Make it with Lasers programme continues to bring state-of-the-art technology to industry in the form of this latest opportunity to attend a one-day workshop on Thursday 10 April 2003 at GSI Lumonics in Rugby.
Lasers are driving global productivity and enhancing competitiveness throughout manufacturing. This event is an opportunity for delegates to assess different laser processes and their application for improved businessperformance.
The keynote speech will be given by Jim Wright who received an MBE in 1989 for services to the laser industry. Other features are presentations from laser experts in industry, a surgery where delegates will have the opportunity toraise questions on a one-to-one confidential basis, an exhibition of equipment and demonstrations of CW Nd:YAG, Nd:YAG and CO 2 lasers, and a tour of GSI Lumonics.
This event is of relevance to decision makers and current or potential laser users in all types of manufacturing industry. It will identify new manufacturing opportunities and solutions and enable assessment of quantifiable benefitsfollowing the introduction of lasers in industry.
