A new industry sector devised to meet the needs of Member companies working with equipment, materials and consumables has just been formed at TWI. It will be of interest to welding equipment suppliers, consumable manufacturers andmaterial producers.

To launch the team there will be a panel meeting held at TWI, Abington on 27 September 2005. The meeting will focus on the trends influencing the industry both nationally and internationally.

Attendance is free to Member companies and will provide an excellent networking and benchmarking opportunity. Four keynote speakers will give perspectives and case studies from different backgrounds, and an open forum will beconducted in the afternoon.

This will be your chance to get updated information and influence future work in this sector. There will also be an opportunity to feed back topics which you would like to see covered in TWI panel meetings for this industrysector.
