7th International Friction Stir Welding Symposium

TWI is pleased to announce that the 7 ^th International Friction Stir Welding Symposium will take place on 20 ^th -22 ^nd May 2008 at the Awaji Yumebutai Conference Centre on Awaji island, near Kobe, Japan.

This event follows on from the successful and highly acclaimed earlier Symposia, which TWI has organised on behalf of the Friction Stir Welding Licensees Association. The event is expected to attract those interested in any aspectof friction stir welding, from fundamental research through to design and applications. The papers presented will define the state of the art of the process, and the meeting will provide a unique opportunity to meet others who share acommon interest in the process.
