EWM Hightec Welding GmbH holds Training Course at TWI

EWM Hightec Welding GmbH, a recent new Industrial Member of TWI, held their UK and Ireland distributor training at TWI. The two day event, held in TWI's Training School in June was well attended. The delegates learned all aspects ofEWM's latest ColdARC and ForceARC processes in order to help their distributors promote the equipment amongst their own customers.

This course was a further example of TWI's efforts to increase its service offering among its Industrial Members in the Welding Equipment, Consumables and Materials (ECM) Sector. Industrial Members can use TWI's facilities, for anominal charge, to hold meetings and demonstrations. TWI can also support the event with an overview of the organisation and specific technical presentations.

An additional benefit to this Sector is the recently introduced Service and Vendor guide on the TWI Website, where Industrial Members can provide information about their company and showcase new products. There is also anopportunity to present results of process reviews undertaken by TWI.
