New technology transfer project in Wales

The Joining Forces Wales 2 Technology Transfer Programme, which is managed by TWI, began in Autumn 2007.

The principal objective of the project is to improve the competitiveness of manufacturing companies by helping them access new technologies appropriate to their business needs and offering cost, logistic and/or quality improvements.Manufacturing companies will gain benefits such as improved productivity and efficiency, introduction of new products and processes, more efficient use of materials and reduced waste and re-work.

Technical delivery will be completed within three years.
