Advanced manufacturing technology event

TWI is running a one-day technology event entitled 'Advanced Manufacturing for High Performance Applications'. This event will take place on Tuesday 18th March 2008 at the Innovation Technology Centre in Rotherham, UK.

Subjects covered will include:

• Advanced fabrication techniques
• Electronics assembly and reliability
• Composites and adhesives
• Surface engineering
• Inspection and non-destructive testing
• Training in material joining and quality assurance

TWI experts will also be available for one-to-one clinic sessions to discuss particular issues relating to the above subjects.

The event will be enhanced by an exhibition, networking opportunities and the opportunity to look around TWI's advanced manufacturing research facilities. It is being supported by the Motorsport Industry Association and the AdvancedManufacturing Park.
