On 10 March 2011, a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) was signed in Kuala Lumpur between TWI SEA and the Government of Malaysia (Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resources).

The Government of Malaysia has for objective to develop a workforce that is responsive to the changing labour market environment thus increasing the economic growth and creating more job opportunities. It has designed National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) which are used in all accredited centres throughout Malaysia.

TWI SEA is a well established technical, vocational training and certification business in the region and is well known to the Malaysian industry for delivering other services too.

This collaboration will result in TWI offering dual certification JPK-CSWIP for welding and inspection services in Malaysia.
