Rapid metal to ceramic joining

con97108.jpg

Ultrasonic welding is a novel method of producing strong and hermetic joints between metals and ceramics. This precisely controlled technique produces a joint in under half a second, thus minimising power consumption.

The ceramic needs no special pretreatment before binding.

Close control over the processing parameters ensures good consistency from joint to joint and the process is applicable to a wide range of both metals and ceramics.
