Performance Assessment of Non-Invasive Monitoring of Above Ground Storage Tank Floors Using Guided Wave Ultrasonic Monitoring

This project will monitor selected in-service tanks using a non-invasive technique to obtain long-term data on floor condition, which will be compared with results from internal examinations to demonstrate the performance reliability of this technique. The ultimate goal is to assist the liquid storage and distribution industry in reducing the costs involved in ensuring that leaks do not occur from aboveground storage tanks.
