TWI Frequently asked questions
The Individual Route is for those who -
- Hold a non-accredited UK degree (i.e. qualification not included in the Engineering Council UK list of accredited degrees)
- Hold an Open University Degree
- Have overseas qualifications
- Hold a combination of qualifications requiring individual assessment - NB these must be equal to the qualification requirement for the class of membership.
Individual Route assessment takes place after a candidate's application has been approved in principle, and prior to Professional Review Interview. Individual Route assessments are carried out by the Registration committee of theMembership, Education and Registration Committee. Full details of the candidate's qualifications are required to assist with the assessment.
