Manual, automatic and semi-automatic butt fusion machines are available to hire or purchase from a number of suppliers. Automatic machines feature electro-hydraulic controlled pipe clamps, trimmer and heater plate, with full data recording of weld parameters. Semi-automatic machines offer some of the benefits of auto joining, with optional data logging facilities.
Equipment is available for welding thermoplastic pipes with diameters between 50mm and 2000mm.
