Training and certification is available from TWI that provides guidance and best practice on how to successfully carry out the manual processes of hot gas and extrusion welding. All courses involve a mixture of classroom andpractical sessions.
- Hot gas appreciation (3 days)
- Hot gas welding (5 days)
- Extrusion welding (3 days)
Certification to EN13067 'Approval testing of plastics welders' is available for suitably experienced candidates.
TWI also offers welder training tailored to your company needs, i.e. using specific materials or equipment, or relating to a particular type of fabrication.
