What is WIM and its objectives?
Welding Institute (Malaysia) Bhd was established in 2004 to provide a focus for individuals and organisation that involved in welding, joining, cutting and associated technologies.

WIM's objectives are to improve and provide the knowledge of technical procedures through newsletter and publication. Encourage training, qualification and continuing professional development through seminars, conferences.

Overall WIM's aim is to promote welding, joining and cutting of new technologies in all areas of welding industry.

What are the benefits of memberships?

How do I join WIM and how much does it costs?
Contact us on line or at the address below of fill in the application form on line.

Classes and Status of membership are divided into five (5) categories:

  • Fellow (FWIM)
  • Member (MWIM)
  • Associate Member (AMWIM)
  • Affiliate (AWIM) and Student (StudWIM)
  • Corporate Member
Annual subscription fees are from RM250, RM200, RM150, RM100 and RM50.00. In every category, each member will need to pay an entrance fee of RM20.00.

Corporate Member's annual and subscription fees are RM550.00 each respectively.
